Remedial Massage
Ascot Vale

Massage is often viewed as a luxury – however, many studies now prove the benefits of regular massage beyond the initial relaxation.

Remedial Massage with one of our qualified, skilled, and experienced massage therapists can help ease muscle pain and tension, enhance your sporting performance, increase joint mobility, improve your posture, and boost your immune system. Our holistic massage therapy also has mental health benefits, like reducing stress and anxiety.

You’ll receive personalised care based on your specific requirements from our expert team. If you’re pregnant, we offer specialised pregnancy massage, which
uses a specifically designed pregnancy cushion.

You can book a massage for yourself or we also have gift vouchers available.

You can book the following massage appointments in 30-, 45- or 60-minute sessions:

  • Remedial Massage

Remedial massage is a targeted treatment for people with pain or injury. By reviewing your muscles, tendons and posture, along with your lifestyle, the therapist will understand the issues causing the injury or pain. Treatment is often done over a few sessions, with the massage therapist monitoring for any improvements. The pressure in a remedial massage depends on what’s best for your specific issue.

  • Sports Massage

Sports massage is specifically used on some target areas to treat or prevent sport-related injuries. Depending on the athlete and their concerns, it can incorporate different massage techniques. It is recommended for people with active lifestyles who are prone to sport-related injuries. The goal of a sports massage is to improve performance and recovery, along with reducing muscle tension, pain and soreness after sports or extended physical activity.

  • Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage treats musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, and tension. Our massage therapist will apply sustained pressure and use slow, deep strokes to target the deeper muscles and connective tissues. It is recommended for muscle pain, soreness and fatigue. The goal of a deep tissue massage is to improve circulation and break down adhesions in muscles.

  • Relaxation Massage

A relaxation massage is designed to promote overall well-being and stress relief. It can also alleviate issues related to poor posture and chronic back and neck pain. This massage uses techniques from soft tissue massages — using a range of pressures, depths and durations. The goal of a relaxation massage is to release tight muscles, stimulate circulation, and speed up the healing of injuries.

  • Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy or prenatal massages are designed for the treatment and management of back, neck, pelvic, and shoulder pain caused by the changes in your body during pregnancy. It is usually quite gentle and generally considered safe after the first trimester. There is a specially designed massage table for pregnancy which does not put pressure on your back or belly. The goal is to relax and loosen your muscles, reduce anxiety and improve sleep.
