Telehealth is having a remote consultation with your practitioner, without attending the clinic face-to-face. It has become an increasingly preferred option during the COVID-19 pandemic, but has been used in healthcare for many years, and is proven to be a very effective tool and method of consultation.
At In Stride Health Clinic we offer secure, confidential telehealth consultations for physiotherapy, dietetics and podiatry. We use a video-calling platform named Physitrack, which also allows us to send you educational material, and create an exercise program with videos for you to complete at home.
Telehealth is useful for many situations in allied health including:

Telehealth consultations are currently rebated by most private health insurance funds, DVA, Medicare EPC, TAC, WorkCover, and NDIS. For the most up to date information, contact your insurer/third party, or speak with our reception team.
When should I use Telehealth for my appointment?
Telehealth consultations might be used by you during lockdown restrictions, periods of isolating or illness, if you are unable to travel, or for other reasons of convenience in a busy lifestyle.
How can I access Telehealth?
To access Telehealth with In Stride Health Clinic, you simply need an internet connection and a device that has a camera and a microphone (phone, tablet, computer).
You will receive a link via email for your telehealth call and our receptionists can help guide you through this process. Your link is an individual connection that only you can access. It is fully encrypted and ensures secure communication between you and your practitioner.
