MYOTHERAPISTS

CLAUDIO PIRRONE
Myotherapist

Moving from Italy to Melbourne in 2013, Claudio graduated with an Adv. Dip. in Myotherapy in 2019. Currently, he is completing a BSc. in Clinical Myotherapy at Torrens University and a level 1 course in strength and conditioning with ASCA.

Claudio has a passion for working with patients over the long-term. He aims to identify strategies and overcome barriers to ensure prompt recovery, no matter what challenges may arise. During a consultation with Claudio, he will always start with a detailed history to guide the assessment of the complaint and the creation of a plan. The session may include a combination of exercise-based interventions and manual therapy techniques, such as deep tissue techniques, myofascial cupping, dry needling, and joint mobilization.

In his free time, Claudio enjoys cooking, reading non-fiction books, going to the gym, spending time with his girlfriend, and hanging out with friends. Moreover, he seriously struggles with the temptation to stop and pat every dog he crosses paths with. Claudio also has a background in sports, having played handball since he was 8 for eleven years. He even won the U15 Italian National Championship with his team!
