Thank you for being so patient while waiting for an update about our services going forward.
It has been a busy week with a couple of hurdles>
Temporary closure of the AVLC The MVCC have closed the AVLC to any access until a tender process for the management of the centre is completed. At the end of last week it was decided that we also would not be able to access the centre during this period. We are therefore currently treating our clients from Ascot Health Group at 73 Union Rd and our pilates studio at 100 Union Rd, Ascot Vale. Our reception is based at 100 Union Rd and can still be contacted on 93728091.
Stage 4 restrictions announced 3rd August. The restrictions announced yesterday around business closures were not very clear in relation to Allied Health Services. Our Professional Bodies (Australian Physiotherapy Association and the Australian Podiatry Association) are currently meeting with DHHS as we speak. We are waiting the outcome of this meeting to confirm what services we will be able to continue to provide during this lock down.
We understand that for many of our clients the need to continue treatment is essential and there is some anxiety around this announcement. We want to assure you that whatever the outcome is today we will do our best to meet your needs however we can. For many other clients, we also understand that you would prefer to cancel any appointments for now and we completely support this as well. If you prefer to postpone your appointments during this lockdown, please email the clinic on info@instridehealthclinic.com.au so that we can factor this into our planning.
