Free osteoarthritis education sessions at In Stride Health Clinic

Are you over 40?

Do you notice stiffness in your joints?

Do you get pain with some activities?

Have you started to reduce your physical activity because of pain or stiffness?

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a joint disease that progresses gradually over a number of years. It involves an imbalance in the regeneration of the cartilage in our joints.

Many people believe this is due to excessive loading of a joint, but we now know that not enough exercise is also a major cause.

The trick is to get the balance just right. Over two 1 hour sessions, our physiotherapist will talk you through what osteoarthritis is, what causes it, what can make it progress quickly and how you can manage your joints yourself.

The next series will be Thursday 24th Nov and Thursday 5th Dec, 1:15pm at In Stride Health Clinic,

AVLC

Bookings are essential on 93728091 but there is no charge.

Whilst you can just attend the free sessions to get a better understanding of Osteoarthritis, we also offer a full program consisting of an additional 6 week program of physiotherapy exercise. More information will be available in the sessions or by contacting us at the clinic.
